Nous voici déjà à la mi-tournoi, les leaders restent inchangés par rapport à samedi et les échappées bougent encore.
En Juryo, Fujiryoga fonce sur Tohakuryu. Son compagnon de club, Fujiseiun, se fait surprendre plus tard par Asanoyama.
En Makuuchi, Aonishiki reste dans le rétroviseur du Grand champion en se sacrifiant pour sortir Oho. Kotozakura renverse Hiradoumi qui tombe au sol juste avant que l’ozeki pose le pied derrière la ligne (photo).
On termine ce weekend avec les deux yokozuna. Onosato montre encore qu’il est le "maître" en faisant tomber Tamawashi. Un mauvais cadeau de quarante-et-unième anniversaire pour l’Iron man mongol… Depuis vendredi, il semble qu’Hoshoryu est activé le mode "bestial" car son sumo est plus agressif. Cela se voit aujourd’hui quand il agrippe la jambe d’Ura pour le jeter à terre.

In Juryo, Fujiryoga rushed Tohakuryu. His stablemate, Fujiseiun, was later surprised by Asanoyama.
In Makuuchi, Aonishiki remains in the Grand champion's rearview mirror by sacrificing himself to take out Oho. Kotozakura knocked down Hiradoumi who fell to the ground just before the ozeki put his foot behind the line (photo).
We end this weekend with the two yokozuna. Onosato showed again that he is the "master" by knocking Tamawashi down. A bad forty-first birthday gift for the Mongolian Iron man... Since Friday, it seems that Hoshoryu has gone into "beast" mode because his sumo is more aggressive. This can be seen today when he grabbed Ura's leg to throw him to the ground.
