Kyushu basho, fifth day
Le premier tiers de la compétition d’hiver s’achève jeudi soir, on ne retrouve plus qu’un duo dans l’échappée Makuuchi pendant qu’un shin-sekitori s’envole tout seul en tête de la Juryo !
Fujiryoga ne laisse donc aucun cadeau d’anniversaire à Kitanowaka (c’était hier, 12 novembre) pour dominer le tableau de la deuxième division. Plus tard, Kazekeno va laisser Shirokuma lancer ses 167 kg pour reculer et laisser "l’ours polaire" s’écraser au sol.
Asanoyama et Nishikigi entretiennent leur rivalité depuis 8,5 ans, l’ancien ozeki surpasse largement 10-3 son adversaire malgré une petite difficulté aujourd’hui.
Fujinokawa poursuit son chemin en se ruant maintenant sur Kotoshoho. Wakatakakage met fin à la suprématie d’Aonishiki dans ce basho grâce à un élan non contrôlé de l’ukrainien…
Onosato conclut la journée en sortant Wakamotoharu.

The first third of the Winter competition ends on Thursday evening, there is only one duo left in the Makuuchi breakaway while a shin-sekitori flies away alone at the head of Juryo!
Fujiryoga is not leaving any birthday presents to Kitanowaka (it was yesterday, November 12) to dominate the second division board. Later, Kazekeno will let Shirokuma throw his 167 kg back off and let the "polar bear" crash to the ground.
Asanoyama and Nishikigi have maintained their rivalry for 8.5 years, the former ozeki outplayed his opponent 10-3 despite a small difficulty today.
Fujinokawa continues his way by now rushing to Kotoshoho. Wakatakakage put an end to Aonishiki's supremacy in this basho thanks to an uncontrolled motion from the Ukrainian...
Onosato concludes the day by taking out Wakamotoharu.
