It's now written in black and white, Onosato is ozeki! We also see the return of Wakamotoharu (komusubi) and Daieisho (sekiwake) to their best place. Shodai completes the group by taking the second komusubi chair.

Maegashira
Abi (5-10) and Hiradoumi (7-8) are removed from the elite. Meanwhile; Oho, Churanoumi, Oshoma and Roga have their best rankings. Chiyoshoma, Tokihayate and Takerufuji are back with two new ones: Shishi and Asakoryu!

If five men have moved up in rank, things must be balanced. Thus; Kitanowake, Kinbozan, Kagayaki and Shirokuma were relegated to the second division (the retirements of Takakeisho, Myogiryu and Aoiyama played a big role in the transfers). Only one wrestler improved his level: Kayo. We were told at the end of September that three "old-timers" are back (Chiyomaru, Tochitaikai and Nabatame) and we welcome three young players to the "little Bigs": Aonishiki, Wakaikari and Kotoeiho – the latter being f.k.a. Kototebakari. If five men have moved up in rank, things must be balanced. Let's end this report by talking about a few favorites. The first one I will name, Asanoyama, falls to Makushita No. 1. At Isegahama-beya, Enho climbed to Sandanme No. 56 just behind Shinhakuho in No. 48, Seihakuho arrived Makushita No. 47 and Kawazoe No. 29. Also of note is the change of shikona to the new Hidenoyama-beya, which erased the original kanji Koto.
