Terunofuji veut participer à la tournée automnale

Comme d’habitude le conseil YDC se réunit au lendemain de chaque tournoi afin de discuter du banzuke suivant.

Si rien n’a encore été annoncé pour les promotions (mercredi), le président Yamauchi a révélé que #Terunofuji a émis l’envie de sillonner les routes avec ses camarades à la rencontre du public.

« Il veut revenir s’entraîner et côtoyer les fans, tout en continuant ses traitements. Cela montre sa dévotion et l’enthousiasme quant au titre de yokozuna ».

Le championnat d’Onosato a aussi été abordé.

« Très bon travail. Nous avons été impressionnés par son sumo toute la quinzaine, et espérons qu’il fera de même en novembre. Il nous tarde de le voir affronter encore le yokozuna et les ozeki ».

Terunofuji wants to participate in the Autumn tour.

As usual, the YDC council was reunited the day after the end of the September tournament to discuss about the next banzuke. If nothing hasn’t been announced yet for the promotions (Wednesday), President Yamauchi revealed that Terunofuji expressed the desire to travel the roads with his mates to meet the public. "He wants to come back to train and be around the fans, while continuing his treatments. It shows his devotion and enthusiasm for the yokozuna title."

Onosato’s championship was also discussed. "Very good work. We've been impressed with his sumo all fortnight, and hope he does the same in November. We can't wait to see him face the yokozuna and ozeki again."
