七日 Natsu basho, seventh day
Samedi soir, nous voilà déjà au terme de la première semaine de compétition ! La mauvaise nouvelle de cette journée est l’abandon d’Asakoryu (3-4), blessé au genou. Côté résultats, les tableaux ne bougent pas, ou très peu…
En Juryo, Enho avait pourtant bien démarré son tournoi, mais il subit sa deuxième défaite aujourd’hui contre Hitoshi. Toshinofuji est lui aussi perdant devant Nishinoryu.
En Makuuchi, Kotoeiho recule jusqu’au rondin de paille pour que Wakanosho s’écrase au sol. Malgré un bon départ, Shishi se laisse emporté par Tobizaru qui reste dans la course avec un point de retard.
Un peu plus tard, on aime tous voir ce match entre les deux meilleurs ami : Wakatakakage égalise à 3-3 sa rivalité avec Ichiyamamoto. Kirishima est toujours le leader provisoire en expulsant maintenant Daieisho.
BONUS : dans la troisième ligue Makushita, Omori vient d’obtenir son kachi-koshi 4-0 en se débarrassant difficilement de Gonosho.

Saturday evening, we are already at the end of the first week of competition! The bad news of the day is the withdrawal of Asakoryu (3-4), with a knee injury. As for the results, the tables do not change, or very little...
In Juryo, Enho had well started his tournament, but he suffered his second loss today against Hitoshi. Toshinofuji also lost to Nishinoryu.
In Makuuchi, Kotoeiho backed up to the straw bale for Wakanosho to crash. Despite a good start, Shishi was carried away by Tobizaru who remains in the race with one point late.
A little later, we all like to see this match between the two best friends: Wakatakakage equalized at 3-3 his rivalry with Ichiyamamoto. Kirishima is still the provisional leader by now expelling Daieisho.
BONUS: In the third league Makushita, Omori just got his kachi-koshi 4-0 by hardly getting rid of Gonosho.
