Lundi soir, ils ne sont déjà plus que ONZE hommes invaincus dans la course Makuuchi !
On s’en doutait hier, Hoshoryu quitte la compétition et nous laisse sans yokozuna pour la quinzaine… Un rapport médical confirme le diagnostic d’Asakayama-oyakata : déchirure des muscles ischio-jambiers droit.
En Juryo, Tochitaikai n’a pas peur du "petit nouveau" Okaryu. Juste après eux, Enho gagne son deuxième point en sortant Hakuyozan malgré une petite frayeur. Absent d’Osaka à cause de problèmes cardiaques, Midorifuji a lui aussi du mal à éliminer Kayo.
En première ligue, Takayasu va se détourner pour qu’Ichiyamamoto plonge à terre. Wakatakakage prend l’avantage dans sa rivalité 10-9 avec Kotozakura en le portant derrière la ligne. Kirishima conclut la journée avec une violente bataille de pieds contre Yoshinofuji.
BONUS : Tout le monde était très excité de revoir Mita sur le dohyo sept mois après sa blessure au genou. Il déséquilibre Dairinzan pour l’attirer au sol (photo).

BONUS: Everyone was very excited to see Mita back on the dohyo seven months after his knee injury. He knocked Dairinzan off balance to pull him to the ground (pictured).
