Mercredi, on entame le sprint final pour déterminer le champion de ce tournoi d’été. Il n’y a plus que trois hommes dans l’échappée de la première division alors que le leader Juryo prend un peu plus le large…

Dans la deuxième ligue, Kazekeno s’impose avec deux points d’avance en éjectant Enho. Son poursuivant direct, Kazuma, échoue face à Onokatsu malgré un premier sauvetage sur la ligne.

En Makuuchi, Tobizaru confirme sa place en tirant Asanoyama au sol. Kotoeiho le suit en poussant Oshoma dans le dos.

Dans le duel final, Kirishima mène une autre bataille compliquée contre Wakatakakage, mais l’ozeki s’impose pour la quinzième fois dans leur rivalité (24 matchs).

BONUS : la Makushita s’ouvrait aujourd’hui avec un combat que beaucoup attendaient ces derniers jours, et qui peut être déterminant pour la victoire de chaque groupe... Le débutant Omori rencontrait Asahifuji, qui montait exceptionnellement de la Sandanme.

In Makuuchi, Tobizaru confirms his place by pulling Asanoyama to the ground. Kotoeiho follows him by pushing Oshoma in the back.

In the final duel, Kirishima fought another hard battle against Wakatakakage, but the ozeki won for the fifteenth time in their rivalry (24 bouts).

BONUS: Makushita opened today with a fight that many have been waiting for in recent days, and which can be decisive for the victory of each group. The beginner Omori met Asahifuji, who was exceptionally climbing from Sandanme.
