Nous terminons dimanche soir le nakabi de ce tournoi, et ils ne sont plus qu'un leader solitaire dans chacune des deux divisions sekitori ! On assiste aussi à l'ouverture des kachi-koshi (8+ victoires) et des make-koshi (8+ défaites).
En Juryo, Miyanokaze (4-4) n'apprécie pas les gifles de Tohakuryu (6-2) et le pousse en dehors de la zone sans toucher au mawashi. Kusano (7-1) prend la tête en solo après avoir éjecté Wakaikari (5-3).
En Makuuchi, Meisei (5-3) repousse un peu le KK d'Hakuoho (7-1) en le projetant dans une "opération-suicide". Aonishiki (7-1) va procéder de la même façon contre Tobizaru (4-4) qui atteri sur Nishonoseki-oyakata. Wakatakakage (7-1) les rejoint en poussant Oho (3-6).
En fin de journée, Onosato (8-0) garde sa pole-position et écarte Hiradoumi (3-5). On conclut le weekend avec Hoshoryu (6-2) qui contre le henka de Takerufuji (3-5) et le fait basculer au sol... [le K. Shonosuke en est tellement choqué qu'il en perd l'équilibre 😅].
En bonus, voici Ikazuchido en Sandanme. Le nigérian-japonais (在日ナイジェリア人 /zainichi naijeriajin/ si l'on traduit) remonte à 2-2 en éliminant Hokada (1-3).

We finish the nakabi of the tournament on Sunday evening, and they are now only lone leaders in each of the two sekitori divisions! We also see the opening of the kachi-koshi (8+ wins) and the make-koshi (8+ losses).
In Juryo, Miyanokaze (4-4) doesn't appreciate Tohakuryu's slaps (6-2) and pushes him out of the zone without touching the mawashi. Kusano (7-1) takes the solo lead by ejecting Wakaikari (5-3).
In Makuuchi, Meisei (5-3) repells Hakuoho's KK (7-1) by throwing them into a "suicide operation". Aonishiki (7-1) sticks to the score by sending Tobizaru (4-4) on Nishonoseki-oyakata. Wakatakakage (7-1) joins them by pushing Oho (3-6).
At the end of the day, Onosato (8-0) keeps his pole-position by dismissing Hiradoumi (3-5). We conclude the weekend with Hoshoryu (6-2) who counters Takerufuji's henka (3-5) and knocks him to the ground... [K. Shonosuke is so shocked that he is unbalanced 😅].
As a bonus, here is Ikazuchido in Sandanme. The Nigerian Japanese (在日ナイジェリア人 /zainichi naijeriajin/ if we translate) comes back to 2-2 by eliminating Hokada (1-3).
