Samedi soir, on a un duo dans chacune des deux échappées sekitori ! On notera aussi le changement pour le dohyo-iri du yokozuna : Ura remplace Hiradoumi qui affrontera Hoshoryu.
En ouverture de la Juryo, Nabatame (5-2) se fait surprendre par le visiteur Otsuji (4-0). Tohakuryu (6-1) va reculer sur le côté pour laisser passer Mita (5-2) qui ne peut arrêter sa course qu'en dehors du dohyo. Plus tard, Kusano (6-1) se décale lui aussi en tirant le mawashi de Kagayaki (2-5) qui s'écrase au sol.
Tout le monde est impatient de ce match lorsqu'il est inscrit au torikumi : Ura (2-5) projette Tobizaru (4-3) au terme d'une rencontre soutenue, et remonte à 6-11 dans leur rivalité. Hakuoho reste "parfait" en repoussant Ichiyamamoto (3-4).
Kotozakura (4-3) se fait prendre à son propre jeu par Gonoyama (1-6) avant qu'Onosato (7-0) se débarrasse de Takerufuji (3-4). On termine la journée avec le duel mentionné en introduction : Hoshoryu (5-2) bloque Hiradoumi (3-4) qui roule aux pieds des shimpan.
Le bonus d'aujourd'hui illustre la photo de cet article. En Jonokuchi, Imada (3-1) sort vainqueur contre Kazekodai (2-2).

On Saturday evening, we have a duo in each of the two sekitori breakaways! We also notice the change for the yokozuna dohyo-iri: Ura replaces Hiradoumi who will face Hoshoryu.
In the opening of Juryo, Nabatame (5-2) was surprised by the visitor Otsuji (4-0). Tohakuryu (6-1) moves back to the side and lets Mita (5-2) pass, the latter can only stop his run outside the dohyo. Later, Kusano (6-1) also shifts by pulling Kagayaki (2-5) who crashes to the ground.
Everyone was looking forward to this match when it was registered on the torikumi: Ura (2-5) threw Tobizaru (4-3) at the end of a sustained match and goes up to 6-11 in their rivalry. Hakuoho (7-0) remains "perfect" by repelling Ichiyamamoto (3-4).
Kotozakura (4-3) got caught at his own game by Gonoyama (1-6) before Onosato gets rid of Takerufuji (3-4). We conclude the day with the bout mentioned in introduction: Hoshoryu (5-2) blocks Hiradoumi (3-4) who rolls at the feet of the shimpan.
