Mercredi soir, l'échappée Makuuchi perd deux hommes et se retrouve donc à cinq. En Juryo, on compte toujours le même trio invaincu.
Pour ouvrir la deuxième division, on pouvait assister au troisième - et dernier - match des nouveaux sekitori : Mita tourne autour de Mudoho pour le faire basculer en dehors du dohyo. Plus tard, Kotoeiho crochette le talon de Nishikifuji.
Deux anciens san'yaku s'affrontaient aujourd'hui : Mitakeumi garde l'avantage 15-6 dans sa rivalité avec Takarafuji après DEUX mono-ii et un rematch. On termine cette partie avec le champion de mars, Kusano, qui accompagne Shirokuma derrière la ligne pour venir à un petit point des leaders.
Hakuoho conserve sa position dans le groupe de tête en sortant Onokatsu. Takerufuji perd sa place en se faisant surprendre par Wakatakakage, et la même situation arrive à Oho contre Onosato. La journée se conclut avec le deuxième kinboshi du tournoi, remis à Abi...
Je vous laisse maintenant avec deux bonus qui viennent de Makushita. Le premier est Asanoyama, le genou de l'ancien ozeki nous effraie quelque peu dans sa rencontre avec Toseiryu. Le second est Enho, qui arrive à "survivre" aux attaques de Chiyomaru (photo).

On Wednesday evening, the Makuuchi breakaway lost two men and therefore found itself down to five. In Juryo, there is always the same unbeaten trio.
To open the second division, we could attend the third - and last - bout of the new sekitori: Mita circles around Mudoho to make him switch outside the dohyo. Later, Kotoeiho hooks Nishikifuji's heel.
Two former san'yaku faced each other today: Mitakeumi keeps the 15-6 advantage in his rivalry with Takarafuji after TWO mono-ii and a rematch. We end this part with the March champion, Kusano, who accompanies Shirokuma behind the line to come within a point of the leaders.
Hakuoho maintained his position in the leaderboard by taking out Onokatsu. Takerufuji lost his place when he was surprised by Wakatakakage, and the same situation happened to Oho against Onosato. The day ended with the second kinboshi of the tournament, awarded to Abi...
I leave you now with two bonuses that come from Makushita. The first is Asanoyama, the knee of the former ozeki scares us a little in his match with Toseiryu. The second is Enho, who manages to "survive" Chiyomaru's attacks (pictured).
