Au troisième soir de la compétition, les rangs se resserrent en tête des divisions majeures. Le groupe des leaders fond à sept combattants en Makuuchi et à six en Juryo.

En deuxième ligue, Enho débloque son compteur en expédiant rapidement Tamashoho.

Malgré une belle frayeur face à Hitoshi, Shirokuma (surnommé "l'ours polaire") préserve son invincibilité.

Il est rejoint au sommet par Asasuiryu, qui a poussé Kyokukaiyu au-delà des limites du dohyo.

Dans la première division, Shodai relance le duel historique : dans une rivalité qui dure depuis mai 2017, il s'impose face à Ura, réduisant l'écart de leurs confrontations à 9-10.

Atamifuji reste imposant, Il conserve sa place en dominant un Oho toujours en quête d'une première victoire.

⚡Sensation à l'IG Arena : Churanoumi a fait rugir le public en faisant chuter l'ozeki Kotozakura par un tirage de bras opportuniste.

Kirishima a ensuite livré une prestation parfaite en éjectant Gonoyama, tandis qu'Onosato renoue avec le succès en poussant Takanosho hors du cercle.

🌟Dans un combat "électrique", Fujinokawa s'offre une magnifique deuxième étoile d'or (kinboshi) en provoquant Hoshoryu.

On the third night of the competition, the ranks are closing again at the top of the major divisions. The group of leaders melts to seven fighters in Makuuchi and six in Juryo.

In the second league, Enho unlocked his counter by quickly dispatching Tamashoho.

Despite a scare against Hitoshi, Shirokuma (nicknamed "the polar bear") preserves his invincibility.
